The San Diego Brewers Guild has partnered with Brewers Supply Group with the release of an exclusive hop blend to celebrate the San Diego craft beer community and the Guild’s 25th anniversary! This proprietary hop blend officially named “SD Beer Blend” is available to commercial brewers with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the San Diego Brewers Guild and our member programs.
The “SD Beer Blend” is designed as a late kettle or dry hop for classic West Coast-inspired IPA’s by showcasing notes of tropical fruit, , tangerine and stone fruit. Its strong tropical fruit expression also makes it well-suited to hazy or juicy IPA’s, but don’t stop there! The “SD Beer Blend” is flexible and bright enough to be a welcome addition to the summer beer of your choice. We encourage all brewers to submit a presale order for the blend by April 30th to ensure it is shipped and received in time to release their specialty beer on June 10th. If brewers are not able to schedule a brew with the blend for a June 10th release, you can still participate and release the beer later in the year. |
